A favorite customer of mine, Fran, bought the Amy Winehouse portrait from me and she was so pleased with it that she decided to get a custom portrait. So we worked together to find the perfect photo of Elizabeth Taylor via google and I drew this piece! I am very happy with it! And it's already packed and shipped. =) I love my side job!!

Trying something new on my YT channel!

So my friend and I were hanging out and we decided to do her makeup like a Vampiress and film it! I wasn't sure if my subscribers would like me uploading something different from drawing, but I got a pretty good response. My makeup skills aren't the best, and I don't have the best, or a lot of makeup but I want to keep doing makeup videos! They are fun! I want to do a handful of Halloween tutorials. I absolutely love watching makeup artists transform themselves into Halloween creatures! Hope you enjoy!!!

Colorful Marilyn Monroe Portrait Art!(+ video!)

Sorry I haven't been updating my blogs recently, things have been quite hectic with school and selling portraits and YouTube and LIFE. lol BUT! I plan on getting back on the blogger wagon. I actually really like blogging, AND looking at other peoples' blogs! Especially fashion blogs! What about you guys? What are your favorite types of blogs to follow? I definitely want to start adding fashion posts to my other blog!

ABOUT THIS ART: I was getting a little bored with black and white and decided to try something new. I've never done anything like this before, and I must say... I love it!! I had it hanging on my wall in my bedroom for a while, but I'm sort of redecorating at the moment so it doesn't go with my new color scheme. Oh well. I'm thinking of drawing or painting a BIG like 20 x 30 marilyn monroe piece for on an empty wall of mine. Maybe I should blog about decorating my room!? Well this is one of many posts coming today! YouTuber Portrait: AndreasChoice!

Hey guys, sorry for the absence. I have been super busy with Etsy.com portraits people have been ordering from me so I haven't had time to draw my little celebrity type portraits! I hope I can upload more consistently for you guys from now on! If not... just know I'm not stopping making videos ANY TIME SOON. I love it. <3 The photo at the very top of the post is the photo I used at a reference for this portrait. As you can see, the top of her head is "chopped off" so I had to draw the top of her head from my imagination. At first I made her forehead too big but I fixed it at the end. This took about 4 hours, and I just used pencil and Bristol paper. Well, and a kneaded eraser, blending stump and tissue paper. If you have any questions feel free to ask away! Hey Guys! So if you are new to my YouTube Channel or blog, I draw celebrities, or YouTube celebrities that I like/watch and post video's of them on YouTube and here on my blog! I've been watching MakeupByTiffanyD for probably over a year now. She is so great at makeup and she's got a classy cute sense of fashion as well! Love her channel:) So here she is!

Took me about 3 or 4 hours to complete. I used only one pencil. My mechanical one! And of course my blending stump, kneaded eraser, tissue paper, and one piece of Bristol paper! Enjoy!

Hey everyone! I finished this drawing of Prince William and Kate Middleton this morning. I thought it was appropriate for the wedding tomorrow :). I will be watching it!! Will you? At first I was like what is the big deal it's just a wedding but then I saw this special on TV all about it and now I'm one of those crazy obsessed people :) jk not quite haha. This drawing took be almost 7 hours. Well it's TWO faces, so that is why it took so much longer than usual. Had a hard time getting Prince William to look like Prince William but Kate was easy. Her hair was not easy though. I always have a hard time with hair. Anyways here are some photos and the video! Enjoy!

Using My Imagination To Draw ❉

Hey guys, well the video pretty much explains itself. Someone gave me the idea to draw without using a reference photo to look at. So I drew a non existent woman. Basically I drew the perfect face :). She is very pretty. I didn't use a photo and I didn't do an outline/sketch before hand. This took me about 35 minutes and I used my mechanical pencil. I used my old sketchbook paper for this one instead of my nice Bristol paper. Man, HUGE difference. The blending stumps were almost useless on this sketchbook paper. How did I ever tolerate it!!?!? :D If you have any interesting ideas for videos please let me know! ...Enjoy!

New Video: Nicki Minaj Portrait Drawing!

Hey every one! I just uploaded a new video... me drawing Nicki Minaj with her fabulous rainbow wig! =) I'm not gonna lie, this drawing was really difficult for me. I was getting frustrated with the texture the colored pencils were giving me. Any artists out there know of good colored pencils that will blend & erase? I need some! I want to try doing some painting videos. Perhaps with goache. I'm not sure yet. Not with oil, that would be a 129846 part video. Oil takes WAY too long to dry. But anyways, hope you all enjoy my video. More drawings coming!! OH and a giveaway, very very soon. I just need to buy the prizes.

Kalel Cullen aka "QueenBeeuty" Portrait Drawing

Hey Guys!!! I have been drawing so much lately! I am even thinking about doing one more drawing today before someone comes to take my desk. (I sold my desk on Craigslist so I can buy an artists desk! I'm so excited!) So I wont have a desk to draw on for probably about a week so I thought I better try to get a drawing finished today. But last night, I was cleaning my computer and I had this photo of Kalel on it because I had considered drawing her before and I thought, this photo looks pretty simple, besides the hair, I might as well try drawing it right now. SO, I ended up drawing it SO fast. It took me less than 2 hours! Insane! Barely though, it took me about 1 hour and 50 minutes :). And I actually like how it turned out, besides her chest. I accidentally smeared 6B pencil all over her chest because it was on the back of my hand and it just wouldn't erase or go back to normal. But I think it looks okay! I really like how the hair turned out though! If you guys don't know who Kalel Cullen is, she is a "YouTube Beauty Guru" who makes videos about hair, makeup fashion...etc. She also has a channel all about her cat (which is pretty freakin' awesome LOL). She has 3 YouTube channels! Anyways, if you have any questions of comments leave 'em below!

Philip DeFranco aka "sxephil" Portrait Drawing

Hey guys! So today I drew Philip DeFranco. I have been wanting to draw somebody "famous" on YouTube and I was going to draw AndreasChoice but I couldn't find a large clear photo with good highlights and lowlights. Bummer. Then I thought about drawing KalelCullen but again I couldn't find a great photo to use. This drawing took me about 4 hours. I actually used a mechanical pencil the entire time. It is a Pentel Jolt and has 0.7 lead. It worked great for light shades and dark! I tried tweeting my video to @PhillyD but he either didn't see my tweets OR he just doesn't like it hahaha. Sad face. It would be so awesome if he RT'd my video and all his thousands of viewers could see my drawing! So anyways, hope you all enjoy my video and if you have any questions or comments, as always leave them below!

Kanye West Portrait Drawing

I've gotten a few requests for Kanye West on my YouTube channel and he is one of my favorite musicians/singers/rapper so I drew him! I used Straedtler Mars graphite pencils in HB and 6B. This one took me quite a while, about 5 hours. I think it took so long because the glasses were just NOT easy! Getting his eyes behind the glasses was also difficult. And to top that off, the lighting was a bit complicated. But I had fun drawing it. Every new drawing I do is a challenge. If you have any questions or comments leave them for me below!

Katy Perry Portrait Drawing

Hey guys! So the original photo I used is below. This portrait took me FOREVERRR! But I love it so much! I'm really into the colored hair right now if you couldn't tell. :) I used mostly PRANG colored pencils for this. I also have PRISMACOLOR pencils but I find that they don't blend and don't really erase, and I'm kind of clumsy so I like to know that if I mess up I can erase something. Or blend it out. The hair in this portrait took the longest. I used pinks, purples, blues, and black for the hair. For the skin, even though it is very light, I think I used every color in the rainbow! So let me know what y'all think! More colored portraits orrrr do you miss the good ol' graphite pencil black and whites?
